We know thereĀ are so many barriers to accessing specialist care for your child's eating disorder recovery. We also know your family deserves access to the top line treatment for your child. At Partners in Wellness, we have developed a live, virtual workshop for Phase 1 of FBT, as well as an online course for Phase 2 of FBT to be viewed when your family is ready. While these are not meant to be a replacement for a skilled treatment team, they will provide you with a blueprint for navigating your child's recovery.Ā
Introduction to Phase 1 of FBT: Virtual Caregiver Workshop
1. Understand your role in recovery and the importance of separating your child from the eating disorder behaviors.
2. Learn practical re-feeding skills to restore your childās health.
3. Build your skills and confidence to provide emotional support for your child throughout the process.
4. Learn practical skills to interrupt eating disorder behaviors that interfere or undermine re-feeding/or weight stabilization.
5. Learn valuable information on how to build an effective treatment team.

Introduction to Phase 2 of FBT: Online Course
- Identify factors that indicate your family is ready for Phase 2 of FBT (or not yet)
- Move your child towards independent eating
- Learn how to help your child re-engage in important relationships
- Treat underlying issues that made your child vulnerable
- Heal relationships harmed by the eating disorder
